AnalogDAW is a recording, editing, and mixing studio for macOS and iOS that puts the sound and feel of a classic analog console at the center of everything you do. Every track, bus, and the master runs through modeled preamp color, EQ, saturation, and compression, so your recordings have character from the very first take.
It is built around a performance-first philosophy: track real players and real takes, choose the best moments, and mix. The craft stays in the playing and the engineering. Learn how it works in the User Guide.
AnalogDAW Strips
AnalogDAW Strips brings Channel, Bus and Master AUv3 effects to compatible hosts on Mac, iPad and iPhone. Shape individual tracks, process groups, add aux reverb and delay, and finish a mix with tape and limiting.

Solo Poko
Solo Poko for iOS is a fast, satisfying solo card strategy game built around poker hands. Each round challenges you to hit a score target with only a handful of plays, then spend your winnings wisely before the next boss arrives.
Multitrack Audio Player
Multitrack Audio Player is a backing track player made for musicians on stage. Build your setlist, mix individual stems, loop song sections, and choose your outputs. Markers, a synchronized metronome and count-in, and MIDI control keep your show moving.

CER Ecosystem
Custom Elements Runtime (CER) is the standards-based foundation for the way I build on the web. It combines strict TypeScript inference, zero dependencies, a functional API, and integrated utility-first styling so I can build native Web Components without layering on a separate framework.
CER App Framework adds the structure of a modern full-stack framework, while CER Material provides framework-agnostic Material Design 3 components. Together, they form the stack behind this site. Learn more on the Technology page.

I maintain Helix Help, an unofficial guide to the Line 6 HX family that receives approximately a million visits each year, and make music with The Subclass, whose song "Believe" was used during Pittsburgh Pirates broadcasts in 2023.

I am a Senior Systems/Software Engineer, and I do my best to transform complex frontend technical challenges into elegant solutions. Without a traditional college path, I've built my expertise over the past two decades through hands-on experience, long nights of troubleshooting, technical conferences, and an unwavering commitment to continuous learning.
That path has taken me through software engineering for Fortune 500 companies, academia, government, and private business, along with music production and performance for AT&T SportsNet broadcasts of Pittsburgh Penguins games. It has reinforced my belief that passion, drive, and persistence matter far more than traditional credentials.
Being a husband and father is at the heart of everything I do and is the best part of me. My wife is my best friend, and our daughters bring joy, perspective, and inspiration into my life every day. I do my best to slow down and appreciate the little things because life is much too short not to make the most of it.
