AnalogDAW Strips User Guide
Bring AnalogDAW's console sound to your AUv3 host. AnalogDAW Strips provides three native audio effects for Mac, iPad and iPhone: Channel for individual sources, Bus for groups and aux returns, and Master for the final mix.
This guide describes the current development version. Public release is pending.

The sound of AnalogDAW. In your AUv3 host.
Choose your strip
| Effect | Use it for | Main processors |
|---|---|---|
| AnalogDAW Channel | Vocals, instruments and individual tracks | Preamp with Warm tone, filters, gate, four-band EQ, five compressor circuits and de-esser |
| AnalogDAW Bus | Subgroups, parallel processing and shared effects | Filters, gate, de-esser, EQ and compression; Bus coloration or Aux reverb and delay |
| AnalogDAW Master | Finishing the mix | Tape, filters, EQ, compression, output gain, final limiter, true-peak and loudness meters |
The effects use AnalogDAW's processing engines. Your host supplies the tracks, sends, routing, automation lanes and project saving. The included app lets you audition each strip with a built-in signal or an audio file you choose.

Processing and privacy
The effects support mono and stereo audio at 8–192 kHz. External gate/compressor sidechains depend on your host. Rack and Controls layouts share the same sound and settings, and supported processors can be reordered.
Audio processing stays on your device. No account, advertising, analytics or tracking is included. Read the AnalogDAW Strips Privacy Policy for file, preset and host storage details.
For the complete recording studio, see the separate AnalogDAW User Guide. For help with Strips, contact Jason Shimkoski and include the details in the support chapter.
